ESD performs hands-on disassembly and decontamination of equipment, tools, ducting, piping, structures, and other items. ESD's primary area of expertise is involving the safe decontamination of energetic and explosive contaminated items. However, ESD proudly serves all types of industries and customers requiring decontamination services. ESD may utilize one of its innovative mobile technologies or perform additive decontamination utilizing a variety of solvents or deactivating agents. ESD will perform project analysis to determine appropriate methods and procedures prior to engaging in the disassembly and decontamination work.

ESD's team will work to recognize the totality of the decontamination required, to include the safe handling of explosives, propellants, and reactive ingredients. ESD recommends those  involved with shut-down, decommissioning activities, decontamination efforts, explosive testing, facility oversite and remediation, or equipment handling to contact ESD for expertise and assistance.
